Less than 10k miles on a '12? APR Stage 3? 418HP? Part time AWD?
This seems terrifying, I wonder if the warranty is gone because of the modifications...

APR makes awesome kits for VW's, Audi's, Porsche's etc. Definitely voids factory warranty though. The stage 3 kit would replace the factory turbo which would be the most obvious change. Just an intake and an exhaust usually won't void a warranty, and even a tune of the ecm, if fully removed and reflashed back to stock, would sneak around warranty claims.

isn't the definition of all-wheel-drive that the car is always powering all 4 wheels? because i thought when you change which wheels have power, thats 4 wheel drive.

I've heard of taking the Audi A4 AWD system and transplanting into these. Wonder if that's what they did.

It is a Golf R, so it has the same drivetrain as the A3 already, no swap necessary
